Cactus Flower In Castro Valley: Photo Of The Day

Many people are using stay-at-home orders to turn their gardens into showpieces.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Sarah Simon is using her extra time at home to garden. She tells Patch, "I have doing more gardening and documenting interesting plants and flowers from my garden. These cactus flowers only last for one day/24 hours once they are opened. They have sweet scent and stunningly beautiful."

The photos were taken last weekend.

Thank you for sharing, Sarah!
