
If snagging a new job is one of your New Year's resolutions, you might want to attend this two-part, hands-on resume workshop. It's designed to guide you through the process of creating or improving your own resume.
Topics to be covered include: chronological vs. functional resumes, what to include and not include on your resume, writing the objective statement, using keywords effectively, how to upload your resume, how to email your resume, tailoring your resume and cover letter to a job, printable, scannable and electronic resumes and cover letters.
Bring your own resume in electronic format (email, USB, CD or floppy disc) and work on it in class. Critiquing of resumes is included. Participants must have an email address and be comfortable using a computer.
