• Sutter Health Names Dr. Sumbella Baqai Chief Medical Executive of Sutter Eden Medical Center (sutterhealth.org) — Castro Valley's Eden Medical Center is welcoming back Dr. Sumbella Baqai as its new chief medical executive starting October 12, bringing continuity and experienced leadership to the hospital. She previously spent a decade as a hospitalist and physician leader at Eden, and returns after serving as chief medical executive at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital.
