• Request a Presentation or Workshop from the Student Learning Center (csuchico.edu) — Chico State students, faculty, and staff can now request free in-class presentations or full workshops from the Student Learning Center to highlight tutoring, writing, and study-skills support. With short 10–15 minute overviews or 50-minute skills sessions available, campus groups are encouraged to submit a request form at least two weeks in advance or contact the center directly for details.
   

• Camp Fire relief: Sierra Nevada's Resilience Butte County Proud IPA (yoursforgoodfermentables.com) — Sierra Nevada Brewing in Chico is launching its Resilience Butte County Proud IPA, pledging 100 percent of sales to support long-term Camp Fire recovery. The brewery is also rallying taprooms nationwide to brew the same beer and donate their proceeds, aiming to channel significant aid back into Chico-area survivors and rebuilding efforts.
   

• Cold Blue Mountain Returns with an Epic New Album, The Healer (blogspot.com) — Chico's own doom/sludge band Cold Blue Mountain is back with The Healer, a sprawling, emotionally rich metal album that blends orchestral textures with crushing riffs. A reviewer praises its long, novelistic songs and evolving sound from earlier releases, and points fans to the band's Bandcamp page to listen and support the new record.
