Motorist Killed In Fiery Crash In Antioch
The two-vehicle collision was Thursday near James Donlon and Contra Loma boulevards, police said.

ANTIOCH, CA — A driver died Thursday morning following a two-vehicle collision in Antioch that resulted in one car bursting into flames, according to the Antioch Police Department.
Officers were called shortly before 10:30 a.m. to James Donlon and Contra Loma boulevards after a vehicle hit a tree, then another car, causing one of the cars to catch fire, officials said.
One motorist, a man in his 20s, died from his injuries. The other driver and a passenger were treated for minor injuries, the department said.

Witnesses said both vehicles were speeding in the same direction on James Donlon prior to the wreck, police said.
