• Michael Rigsby Killed in Concord Motorcycle Accident on Highway 4 (pacificattorneygroup.com) — A 47-year-old Brentwood motorcyclist was killed Monday afternoon in a multi-vehicle collision on westbound Highway 4 in Concord, just east of Port Chicago Highway. CHP says he was wearing a helmet, no other drivers were hurt, and drugs or alcohol are not suspected as factors in the crash.
   

• Shooting at Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station injures 3, temporarily disrupts service (kioncentralcoast.com) — A shooting at the Pittsburg/Bay Point BART station Monday evening halted train service between North Concord/Martinez and Antioch, forcing riders onto a bus bridge. Three people were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, one suspect was arrested nearby, and police are still searching for a second suspect as service gradually resumes.
