Getting people back to work and supporting health care workers is the priority.

“It’s a win-win situation: we can help create jobs for people who have been laid off as non-essential workers, as well as expand Servicon’s environmental services as we move into a future when businesses will require deeper and better cleaning,” she said.

Workers at Servicon are continuing to step up, Sewell said.

“Servicon Systems’ courageous personnel are absolutely critical to our nation’s success in fighting COVID-19 and keeping Americans safe,” Sewell said. “Historically, our professionals have not received adequate credit for their contributions to public health, but in today’s crisis, people are noticing and praising them for their efforts. The increased respect and higher visibility is helping to attract talent to fill more positions.”

Employees at Servicon are provided materials and tools to do their jobs properly including personal protective equipment. Servicon also has the ability to perform ATP testing to confirm that no biological materials are present after cleaning.

Servicon is also working with the Jobs Plus Initiative of the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, which helps low-income public housing residents increase their income and move toward self-sufficiency.

People can apply to join the Servicon team on the company's website.
