AAII Silicon Valley Workshop: Safe Withdrawal Rates from your Retirement Portfolio

A workshop that discusses how much you can safely withdraw from your savings during retirement

This is the sixth in a series of interactive Financial Planning Workshops covering investing, retirement planning, safe withdrawal rates, estate planning and much more. This session will focus on safe withdrawal rates from your retirement portfolio. These workshops assume no prior knowledge, and are suitable for people of all stages of life.

  1. About Bengen’s 4% rule and variations thereof
  2. Bucket techniques for your portfolios
  3. About required minimum distribution (RMD) strategy and other withdrawal considerations
