• SJSU Mourns the Passing of All-American Football Alumnus James 'Jim' Carter (sjsuspartans.com) — Longtime Cupertino business owner Jim Carter, co-owner of Dance Academy USA for more than 36 years, has died, and San José State University is honoring his legacy as an All-American football standout and entrepreneur. Carter helped build one of California's largest dance schools while also leading major real estate and corporate ventures and supporting SJSU athletics through significant philanthropy.

• Uber CFO Previews Rivian Autonomy+, Buys a Launch Edition R2 (riviantrackr.com) — Rivian's upcoming Autonomy+ system was recently tested on a real-world route from Sunnyvale to Cupertino and back, reportedly handling the entire surface-street drive without issues. Started off trying to install an EV charger.. was told we needed to upgrade to 200amp main panel if we needed the EV charger and then add solar etc… (Nextdoor Monta Vista) - Painting owls, yesterday, part of raptor bird series (formerly painted Eagles) in Chinese painting style taught by Henry Li of Blue Heron Arts via ZOOM.
