CHP: Rollover Crash on I-680 Closes Bollinger Canyon Road Off-Ramp

The crash was first reported just before 5 a.m. on Saturday.

All southbound lanes of Interstate Highway 680 in San Ramon have reopened following a rollover crash that left at least one person injured early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. Officers responded to a report of a crash on southbound Highway 680 near the Bollinger Canyon Road off-ramp shortly before 5 a.m., CHP officials said.

Three cars were involved in the accident, CHP Officer Eric Anderson said. One person had to be extracted from one of the vehicles and was transported to a hospital for major head injuries, he said. Anderson did not have information on the other people involved in the crash.

A Sig-alert was issued at 5:44 a.m. closing all southbound lanes that reopened shortly after 8 a.m., according to the CHP.

The California Highway Patrol this morning has issued a Sig-alert following a rollover crash on Interstate Highway 680 in San Ramon. The southbound lanes of the highway are currently closed at the Bollinger Canyon Road off-ramp. There were at least two vehicles involved in the crash, according to the CHP.
