Coffee House Robbery Suspects Arrested In Contra Costa Co.
Sheriff's office officials said two adults and two juveniles were arrested in connection with the brazen robbery.

ALAMO, CA — Four suspects have been arrested in connection with a robbery at a Starbucks in Alamo on Saturday afternoon, sheriff’s office officials said. The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office said the victim was sitting at a table using her laptop Saturday afternoon when three suspects entered the Starbucks located in the 3200 block of Danville Boulevard in Alamo.
Officials said the suspects grabbed the victim’s computer and left in a car that was waiting nearby in the parking lot.
“Deputies broadcast the description of the suspect vehicle, which fled northbound on Danville Boulevard. An Orinda police officer located the vehicle traveling westbound on Highway 24,” officials said in a statement.

Authorities said witnesses were able to identify the four suspects and the victim’s laptop was returned. Oakland resident Nequwan Taylor, 19, Isaiah Taylor, 18, and two juveniles, whose names were not released, were arrested on suspicion of robbery, burglary and conspiracy. Taylor and Taylor are each being held at the Martinez Detention Facility in lieu of $220,000 bail.
In October, police said, portable electronics were stolen from several people in at least three different Tri-Valley coffee shops. The first incident occurred in Pleasanton Oct. 23. The second was reported in Dublin on the same day. Another similar theft occurred in Livermore on Oct. 24. In all of the cases, police said three suspects targeted laptops and cellular phones from tables and purses.

Police remind customers to be aware of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior to the local police department. Police recommend customers keep their valuables out of sight and secured. They ask citizens to keep all items password protected and advise documenting all serial numbers.
