Danville Teen Paralyzed in Swimming Pool Accident to Benefit from Grand Opening of Art and Wine Studio

Funds raised during the grand opening at Pinot's Palette in Livermore will benefit Jake Javier.

Livermore, CA— A national paint and sip franchise will soon open its newest studio in downtown Livermore. Pinot’s Palette, which will open July 22, is located at 153 S L Street.

Prospective artists and wine connoisseurs can sign up online to attend a painting class while enjoying craft beer and wine from local breweries and wineries. Pinot’s Palette caters to all levels of painters, and is staffed by local artists who teach the lively painting classes.

According to co-owner Brandy Medeiros, the proceeds from the grand opening event will benefit a Tri-Valley teenager paralyzed in a tragic swimming pool accident. Jake Javier is a former San Ramon Valley High School football player who was paralyzed from the chest down after he fell into a pool, injuring himself at a graduation party the day before he was to graduate.
