Free Drive-Thru Coronavirus Testing In Concord
Contra Costa Health Services announced four drive-thru sites for COVID-19 testing in Concord, Martinez, Pittsburg and San Pablo.
CONCORD, CA — Contra Costa County residents with fever, cough or other symptoms associated with the new coronavirus may now make free COVID-19 testing appointments at one of four drive-thru sites opened Wednesday.
Participants need not have insurance, but they must make an appointment and arrive in their personal car, the county said in a news release. Results are available in three to five days.
“Testing is more available now than it has ever been since this pandemic began, and we have the opportunity to give more people the health information they need to care for themselves,” said Candace Andersen, chair of the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors, in the release. “Information is power, and it will help us flatten the curve in Contra Costa County."
