Smoke Northwest Of Tri-Valley Coming From Prescribed Burn
If residents see smoke coming from the area of San Pablo reservoir on Friday and Saturday, it is likely due to a controlled burn.

TRI-VALLEY, CA — A 12-acre prescribed fire, aimed to reduce fuel load and promote regeneration of native oaks, will take place on Friday and Saturday at an area east of the San Pablo Reservoir, officials said.
Cal Fire, along with the East Bay Municipal Utility District and the Moraga-Orinda Fire District will be taking advantage of the cool fall weather to complete the prescribed burn, officials said.
The burn area is located about a mile northwest of Briones Dam and is part of the North Orinda shaded fuel break.
