BREAKING: Driver Plows Sedan into Dublin Goodwill Store
Officials say the driver mistook the gas and brake pedals on a sedan.
A driver crashed into a Goodwill store in Dublin this afternoon, damaging the store but injuring no one, an Alameda County fire spokeswoman said. The driver mistook the gas and brake pedals on a sedan and plowed into the store, located at 7232 Regional St., at 2:41 p.m., fire spokeswoman Aisha Knowles said.
The car knocked down a part of the wall and damaged merchandise, including glassware and furniture. Neither the driver nor anyone in the store was injured, Knowles said.
On Nov. 4, a 44-year-old man said he accidentally hit the gas pedal when he crashed into a Hercules restaurant, according to police.
