Dublin Woman Fatally Struck By Delivery Truck
Police said the victim, 70, was taken to Eden Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries.

DUBLIN, CA — A Dublin woman died after she was hit by a delivery truck in Dublin Wednesday afternoon, police officials said. Police were called to the the area of Hillbrook Place and Somerset Lane at about 12:15 p.m. to investigate a report of a collision.
Police said the woman, 70, was hit as the driver was backing up on Hillbrook Place following a package delivery. The woman was taken to Eden Medical Center in Castro Valley where she later succumbed to her injuries.
The driver stopped and cooperated with the investigation, according to police. Neither drugs or alcohol were believed to be a factor in the collision.
