Duck Family Gets CHP Escort Off Of Freeway In Dublin

DUBLIN, CA — California Highway Patrol officers gave a full escort to a duck family in distress.

Officers led them off of the freeway shoulder in Dublin and to safety.

A duck and her babies were waddling along the freeway shoulder near the I-580 Tassajara Road/Santa Rita Road exit, according to a photo posted by CHP. As traffic whizzed past, patrol cars pulled up behind and next to the ducks, keeping the family safe.
