Everlasting Smile!

In my years of Research, I have learned. In the beginning, The Morris Michtom bear, cir.1903 was designed to stand upright and to have this wonderful full open mouth that smiled, (no teeth) including dimples. This is the bear that caused a frenzy in N.Y. The adults just had to have these bears! These bears came in many sizes, even as tall as a grown child. As the demand grew for this bear the Michtoms quickly downgraded the features such as doing away with the bears full open mouth. In 1903 and 1904 the Michtom bear stood upright! the 1904 style has no open mouth. I personally know of one of these bears cir 1904 that is 42 inches tall. Again this bear too is undocumented!  Again, Michtoms first style bears were lost in time!!! So few of first style bears were made, compared  to the mass volume of the German bears flooding the market!! No wonder, Michtoms early bears are so RARE! They were lost in time The truth has been discovered right here in Dublin, Ca. Only because, I have the bear!! People are AMAZED to see my bear! It took me ten years to realize my old bear was designed to stand UPRIGHT! And he does!! My old bear has stood through the test of time and came out SMILING! He was made in America, He is an American ICON. He will change the history of the teddy bear as we know it. After all history is all about the truth, Right! The Legend says, the Michtoms bear tamed the beast. And how could some one tame a beast! Why, of corse, put a SMILE on him! Before this time all toy animals looked so realistic, without a smile! The legend says the Michtom bear was sweet, innocent and had an endearing baby face! Endearing means, EVERLASTING SMILE! This is my old bear exactly! I have put all the pieces together, like a puzzel.
