Explosions, Booming Sounds Heard In Tri-Valley
Residents reported hearing sounds of explosions Wednesday morning while the bomb squad was conducting training in Dublin.

DUBLIN, CA — If you heard loud booming sounds in the Tri-Valley area this morning, you are not alone. Residents from Livermore, Pleasanton, Dublin and San Ramon all reported hearing "booms."
The explosions came from the Alameda County Sheriff's Office training range in Dublin, officials said. The public is not at risk.
"Our bomb squad is conducting training," Sgt. Ray Kelly said. "We will take steps to mitigate noise. We appreciate your patience and support for public safety training.
