Health & Fitness

June 8th we'll have a HUGE selection of dogs and puppies at Dublin PetSmart

Well puppy season is upon us and we have several litters now ready to be placed into loving homes. There is never a shortage of puppies and wonderful dogs that need a great home. We wish people would wise up and rescue not be needed, but not a day goes by we don't get a few calls from individuals or shelters asking if we can help. We take on as much as we possibly can. We ask for foster homes and delighted at how our network has grown. We have amazing volunteers in the Hanford area and right here in Dublin, Pleasanton, Livermore. Caring people that are willing to sacrifice a little space and some time to save lives. When you see the stuff people do to animals in rescue, you shake your head at humanity, and ask how, why a human would be so cruel, so uncaring. Then you meet some of the wonderful people that come out and help and embrace your mission and believe in saving lives too. Terri who operates the rescue loves what she does, and as a friend, I admire her. She works her tail off every day. Sometimes the adopting families get it, what it must be like and sometimes you get people that don't appreciate what it takes to save 600+ dogs a year. Well, we won't stop doing what we do. Although we'd love if we weren't needed at all. Here are some of the dogs and pups that will be looking for homes. We'll keep sharing stories about rescue. It's what we do.
