• NY Times Executive Killed At Dublin Sports Grounds; New Details Emerge: Reports (patch.com) — Dublin residents are reeling after New York Times engineering executive Jonathan McKinsey was fatally shot at the Dublin Sports Grounds, allegedly by his in-laws. Police say the suspects, both 77 and held without bail at Santa Rita Jail, face murder and related charges as an active investigation continues. Dublin authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Dublin Police Services Sgt. Ahmad Mateen.
   

• Local Art Joins the Menu at Dublin's Bagel Street Cafe (patch.com) — Bagel Street Cafe, a longtime favorite near Safeway on Tassajara Boulevard, is now doubling as a gallery for Dublin Arts Collective's rotating Art Circuit. Dublin residents can see original works by local artists while grabbing breakfast or lunch, with exhibits changing every four months and connecting neighborhood businesses, public spaces, and artists across the city.
