Who Will Serve Dublin, Fremont, Livermore? ALCO District 1 Debate
The four candidates running to replace retiring Supervisor Scott Haggerty — who was elected to the seat in 1996 — will debate Jan. 12.

ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — One of the most important political debates impacting Alameda County residents living in the cities of Dublin, Livermore, Fremont and nearby unincorporated areas happens Jan. 12, 2020.
For more than two decades, the District 1 seat on the Alameda County Board of Supervisors has been held by the same man. That is soon to change.
Current District 1 Supervisor Scott Haggerty announced earlier this year he will not seek re-election when his current term expires in January 2021. The long-time supervisor has held the post since November 1996 and is serving his sixth (and final) four-year term.
