One Person Injured in Encino House Fire

One person was injured today in a house fire in Encino, authorities said.

The fire at the two-story single-family home at 15650 Meadowgate Road was reported at 12:06 a.m. and knocked down at 12:29 a.m., said Los Angeles Fire Department Capt. Rick McClure.

One person was taken to a hospital, he said. McClure said five engine companies and three ambulances responded. The cause of the fire was being investigated, he said.
