• Tip Leads To Human Trafficking Rescue, Arrest In Fairfield (patch.com) — An armed suspect with prior felony convictions was arrested near a Fairfield amusement area after a resident reported seeing a young woman in distress, allowing police to rescue a human trafficking victim. Fairfield police are urging anyone who suspects trafficking to call 707-428-7300 or 911 so officers can intervene quickly in similar situations.
   

• Lystek and Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District Honored with WEF Water Quality Improvement Award (cwea.org) — Fairfield-Suisun Sewer District and Lystek have earned a major Water Environment Federation award for a Fairfield-based project that improves regional water quality.
