2 Firefighters Injured Battling Fremont Fire

FREMONT, CA — Two firefighters were transported to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries suffered while battling a two alarm fire in Fremont Tuesday afternoon, according the Fremont Fire Department. The identities of the injured firefighters have not been released.

The fire, at 81 Shaniko Common in the Warm Springs area, damaged or destroyed 6 units at the condo complex.

The cause of the fire in under investigation.

It was first reported at 3:22 p.m.
