Armed Robbery At Fremont Home Improvement Center

FREMONT, CA — Fremont police are investigating an armed robbery reported Wednesday at the Lowe's Home Improvement store.

At the store is at 43612 Pacific Commons Blvd. The suspect provided a credit card to a clerk but the card was declined, police said. The suspect then pulled out a gun from his waistband and told the clerk to step away, then fled, according to police.

Investigators are still seeking the suspect, described as a Pacific Islander man in his 30s who is about 6 feet tall and 300 pounds with tribal tattoos and missing front teeth.

He was last seen wearing a white shirt and black pants, police said.
