Iridescent Anna's Hummingbird Glistens In Sunlight: Photos Of The Day

This series of photos was taken in a Fremont backyard.

FREMONT, CA — Its rose pink throat and crown make an Anna's Hummingbird immediately identifiable. They are common in the East Bay, zooming and hovering in their endless search for nectar. Residents with citrus trees, honeysuckle, and other hummingbird favorites in their yards can expect frequent sightings.

Shruthi Arunkumar shared a series of photos, telling Patch, "I would like to submit a couple of pictures of an Anna's Hummingbird that I took in my backyard in Fremont, California."

They are beautiful, and we appreciate you sharing them with Patch readers.
