Man shot, killed outside Northeast Fresno liquor store identified (abc30.com) — A 25-year-old man was fatally shot outside Bulldog Liquor Store at Shaw Avenue and Fresno Street in northeast Fresno, and police are still searching for whoever pulled the trigger. Officers responded after a ShotSpotter alert, found the victim in the parking lot, and he later died at Community Regional Medical Center. Investigators say a fight preceded the shooting and are asking anyone with information or video to contact Fresno police or Crime Stoppers.
   

2. Fresno piercing parlor robbed of body jewelry valued at $40k–$50k, owner says (fresnobee.com) — A locally owned piercing shop near Blackstone and McKinley in Fresno was robbed around 4 a.m. Friday, with the owner estimating $40,000 to $50,000 in high-end body jewelry stolen. She's warning residents and pawn shops to watch for large amounts of 14-karat pieces, while Fresno police confirm they've opened a robbery investigation and are reviewing video footage.
   

3. September 28 – October 9, 2026 – Listen To Win: Russell Dickerson Big Fresno Fair Contest Rules (ksks.com) — Fresno-area country fans can soon call in to 93.7 Kiss Country for a shot at Big Fresno Fair admission and Russell Dickerson concert tickets. From September 28 to October 9, the station will pick the ninth caller after a morning "cue to call" each weekday. Winners must live within 100 miles of the Fresno studio and meet age and prize-eligibility rules.
