A fourth suspect, identified as Isabella Chaidez, 17, of San Jose, is still wanted in connection with the murder, police said.

Police responded on Feb. 16 on at 2:59 a.m. to a residence in the 1400 block of Bay Tree Drive after a neighbor reported hearing dogs barking near Heiser’s home.

Responding officers entered the home and found Heiser lying unconscious inside. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Bernice and Bejarno were taken into custody following the death after investigators said surveillance video showed the suspects entering a convenience store and purchasing items with Heiser’s credit card.
