Influenced at an early age by his famous father, jazz vibist Bobby Hutcherson, Barry took up the drums at age 13. He has studied with legendary drummers Eddie Marshall and Billy Higgins, among others. His talented band includes Anton Schwartz, saxophone; Grant Levin, piano; and Sam Bevan, bass.
