"Eat for a Seat"

Six Coastside restaurants are participating in "Eat for a Seat," a fundraiser to help renovate audience seating at Coastal Repertory Theatre in Half Moon Bay.

Those eateries include: Café Gibralter, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company, It’s Italia, Mezza Luna, Pasta Moon, and Sam’s Chowder House.

Customers who eat at those restaurants are encouraged to donate to the cause, and restaurants will match guest contributions up to $1,000 total. 

The money will help purchase new plush burgundy seats, aisle lighting, new carpet and paint. Supporters also can "buy" a tax-deductible seat for $500, which will include honorary chair plaques.
