The End of the Line is the first major documentary to reveal the worldwide problem of overfishing and poor fisheries management, which is leading to a potentially catastrophic decline in fish populations and ocean health. Based on a book written by Charles Clover, End of the Line shows us that fishing with modern technology has put us in a dire situation where we are very close to destroying entire ocean ecosystems. In a single human lifetime, we have brought about huge changes in the ocean, through overfishing and destructive fishing practices.
