800-Pound Pig Creates Traffic Hazard On US 101 Near Healdsburg

Several drivers stopped and were trying to corral the large animal but were unsuccessful, the CHP said.

HEALDSBURG, CA — Drivers heading northbound Wednesday evening on U.S. Highway 101 in northern Sonoma County may want to proceed with caution near the Lytton Springs Road offramp.

A white, 800-pound pig was reportedly walking around under the freeway overpass, according to reports received Wednesday by California Highway Patrol dispatchers.

The first call came in at 4:57 p.m. Wednesday.
