Healdsburg Airport Runway Project Put Out for Bid

Rehabilitation of runway, new cable for lighting bids called for within $550,000 budget.

The City of Healdsburg today announced bids are being accepted for two related projects to improve the Municipal Airport, located off Lytton Springs Rd. 

REBID= Runway Pavement Rehabilitation and Edge Light Upgrade (AIP Project number 3-06-0305-05) project is out to bid.

The Engineers estimate on this project (including the base bid and Alternate bid item) is approximately $550,000 (Two bid schedules)

The project consists of rehabilitating 20,000 SY (square yard) of asphalt runway pavement with slurry seal after filling cracks with a seal and upgrade of runway lighting, installing new cable in conduit with new MIRL for approximately half the runway.

There is a pre-bid meeting scheduled for this project for July 30, 2013 11:00am at the lobby of the Healdsburg Municipal Airport located at 1500 Lytton Springs Road, Healdsburg. Bidders are HIGHLY encouraged to attend.

The bid opening date is Friday, August 5, 2013 at 11:00am City Hall Council Chambers.
