Notice On Healdsburg's 'Boil Water' Advisory For Some Residents

News from the City of Healdsburg:

The City of Healdsburg issued a precautionary boil water notice to the residents of the Sunset Water Distribution Pressure Zone on Monday.

The notice was issued due to an August 2nd water outage in the zone caused by pumping equipment failure and the resulting loss of level in the zone’s reservoir. Zone flushing and bacteriological sampling were performed. Bacteriological sampling currently reveals no bacterial contamination of the zone, and a second set of samples will be analyzed today.

Upon successful completion of today’s bacteriological samples, and the verification of bacterial absence, a boil water cancellation notice will be issued.
