Sonoma Co. Man Sentenced To 25 Years To Life, Plus 10 Years, For Repeat Domestic Violence, Forced Sex

A repeat offender convicted in January of felony domestic violence has been sentenced to 25 years to life plus 10 years in state prison, Sonoma County District Attorney Jill Ravitch announced Friday.
Paul Andrew Scott, 56, of Rohnert Park, was sentenced Thursday after being convicted on January 23.
The charge resulted from a June 2014 assault in which beat his girlfriend, who suffered a laceration to her eye that required stitching and bruising to her mouth, jaw and arms, prosecutors said.

Prosecutors said Scott had seven previous convictions including several forcible sex offenses against multiple women dating back to 1987.
