Roman has remained jailed since being arrested Wednesday by detectives in the Los Angeles Police Department’s Sexually Exploited Child Unit.
Roman had been under investigation by the unit since last September, after a student came forward to allege that the coach had touched her inappropriately on several occasions while working at Cahuenga Elementary School, 220 S. Hobart Blvd.
During the investigation, the additional female students “disclosed that Roman had also inappropriately touched them,” according to an LAPD statement.
Roman faces up to 135 years to life in state prison if convicted as charged, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
