News Anchor Accuses Kevin Spacey Of Assaulting Her Teen Son
"Shame on you for what you did to my son," former anchor Heather Unruh said, addressing the criminal investigation of Kevin Spacey.

HOLLYWOOD, CA — Kevin Spacey could face criminal charges as police in Massachusetts investigate a sexual assault allegation against the Oscar-winning actor. A former television news anchor accused the actor of getting her teen son drunk and sexually assaulting him in a Massachusetts bar last year.
Through tears, Heather Unruh told reporters at a news conference in Boston that Spacey fed her then-18-year-old son drinks at the Nantucket bar in July 2016. When her son was drunk, Spacey stuck his hand in her son's pants and on his genitals, she alleges. A bystander intervened, giving the teen a chance to escape, she added.
Unruh didn't hold back her anger with Spacey. "Shame on you for what you did to my son. Your actions are criminal," she said.

"Nothing could've prepared my son for how that sexual assault would make him feel as a man," she said. "It harmed him and it cannot be undone."
Unruh said Spacey urged her son, who had lied about his age, to go to a private after-party but a concerned bystander asked her son if he was OK. When he responded that he was not, the woman told the young man to run and he did.

Unruh said she begged her son to go to law enforcement to report the assault at the time, but he refused. He finally agreed to do so last week, filing a report with Nantucket police, she said. Police declined to comment on whether they are investigating.
Allegations began to surface against Spacey, 58, late last month when he was accused of making an unwanted sexual advance in 1986 toward then 14-year- old actor Anthony Rapp. Spacey was 26 at the time. Several other men have since come forward to say that Spacey sexually assaulted them, and a number of entertainment companies are severing their ties with the actor.
Production has been suspended on Spacey's Netflix series "House of Cards," and the actor has also been cut from CBS' upcoming special celebrating Carol Burnett.
