Villain Steals $325K 'Iron Man' Suit From LA Warehouse
The iconic suit worn by Robert Downey Jr. in the 2008 film "Iron Man" was stolen from a Los Angeles storage facility.

PACOIMA, CA — Brace yourself, world: a villain has stolen Iron Man's famous crime-fighting suit. The original red-and-gold metallic costume worn by Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in the 2008 film "Iron Man" disappeared from a prop-storage warehouse in Pacoima, police announced Wednesday.
The Avengers may not come to the rescue, but the Los Angeles Police Department is working to recover the piece of Hollywood/Marvel history, worth an estimated $325,000. The burglary was reported to the LAPD Tuesday, and detectives believe the suit was stolen from the storage facility at the 132000 block of Weidner Street sometime between February and April 25, said Los Angeles police Officer Christopher No.
The owners of the warehouse remembered seeing the suit in storage in February. They told police it wasn't until this week that they noticed it was missing.
