HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Laguna Beach residents, ready those earplugs — the U.S. Thunderbirds have joined the lineup for this year's Pacific Airshow, Oct. 1 through Oct. 3. The new addition to the annual airshow in Huntington Beach was announced Sept. 28.

Huntington Beach police reminded residents that starting Sept. 27, the skies will be filled with the roar of jet engines once again.

But please, don't call 911. A special phone number has been established to handle noise complaints from the air show — for noise complaints regarding the air show, please call 714-536-5985.

“To say it’s an honor to have the Thunderbirds join us again would be an understatement,”
Event Director Kevin Elliott said in a statement. “The lineup of the 2021 Pacific Airshow will become a thing of legend with kids growing up to say, ‘I remember when all three North American Jet Teams flew together in Huntington Beach.’”

Airshow fans can expect to witness a new maneuver, Rapid Recovery, along with modified maneuvers which showcase the precision flying and combat capabilities of the F-16 Fighting Falcon, according to a statement released by the Pacific Airshow.
