• A big change is coming to a deadly stretch of PCH in Huntington Beach (laist.com) — A major safety upgrade is underway on Pacific Coast Highway in Huntington Beach, where Caltrans is adding bike lanes along a 10-mile stretch between the Santa Ana River bridge and Sunset Beach. Construction, expected to finish by December, will narrow medians, occasionally close lanes overnight, and aims to reduce deadly crashes on this heavily used cycling corridor.
