Victim in Shooting at Hotel in Palm City Identified
The 27-year-old was gravely injured with at least one bullet wound to his upper body, San Diego police said.

SAN DIEGO, CA: Authorities have publicly identified a 27-year-old man who was fatally shot at a Palm City-area hotel.
Officers sent to the E-Z 8 Motel on Outer Road near Hollister Street early Tuesday found Raymond Lipscomb of San Diego gravely wounded with at least one bullet wound to his upper body, according to San Diego police.
Lipscomb was rushed to a hospital, but died shortly afterward, homicide Lt. Ray Valentin said.

A detailed suspect description has yet to be released. Valentin said an unknown person fired a handgun and struck the victim.
