Artist Within - A Cedars Gallery

Marin Humane and Cedars artists team up for this popular exhibit of adopted pet portraits, now in its fifth year. Every hair, feather, scale, and whisker were lovingly created from hundreds of photos submitted by pet parents. Pet Parade celebrates the animals we love and the happiness they bring into our lives every day.
Opening festivities include optional pup decorating at 6:15pm, followed by a live Pet Parade and Dog Mingle along Magnolia Street at 6:30pm. (Well-behaved dogs only, please!) Join us with your pup for prizes, fun, and a lively street scene!
Opening reception: Friday, September 11, 6pm to 8pmThe exhibition runs from September 11 through November 20, 2026.
Gallery Hours: Monday through Friday, 10am to 4pm; Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 6pm.

The Fairfax Theatre Company proudly presents it’s nineteenth annual production at the Fairfax Pavilion this September with The Importance of Being Earnest, Oscar Wilde’s most enduring witty play, a farcical comedy that masterfully satirizes Victorian-era superficiality, marriage, and social hypocrisy. Following the themes of social obligations and romance, and showcasing clever repartee, the play highlights how artificiality and deception are used to navigate strict social mores. Don’t miss this enduring and lovably iconic play directed by Sam M. Parry!
Performances over 3 weekends:&nbsp; 9/11, 9/12, 9/13; 9/18, 9/19, 9/20 then 9/26
