Ahoy Matey! Kick-off your weekend by embarking on ExplorOcean/Newport Harbor Nautical Museum’s inaugural PIRATE’S WEEKEND adventure. Begin by navigating a PIRATE’S Treasure Map to take you on a scavenger hunt through the galleries and around the Fun Zone in search of buried treasure. Inside the Museum’s galleries, experience life aboard a PIRATE ship. Meet with a savy ‘PIRATE interactor’ who will teach you the ins-and-outs of the swash-buckling lifestyle including: where they slept, what they ate and – of course - drank as well as the ranks of the crew. Explore ship models of vessels used during the ‘Golden Age’ of the pirates. Experience these hands-on-activities and unique PIRATE experiences each day of our PIRATE’S Weekend beginning at 11am. Get in the spirit and come in costume - each child dressed in PIRATE attire receives FREE admission all weekend-long! All other activities are free with admission to our Sea of Adventure gallery, so bring the entire family down!
