Gently-Used Treasures Sought For Susi Q Bargain Bonanza
Laguna Beach residents can donate to support the community's seniors on Sept. 30 through Oct 11. Here's what to know.
LAGUNA BEACH, CA β The second Bargain Bonanza of the year is underway and scheduled at the Laguna Beach Community and Susi Q Center for Saturday, Oct. 12, presenting residents with the special opportunity to support their city's seniors.
On Monday, Bargain Bonanza organizers announced that they would be seeking new or gently-used donations such as jewelry, purses, kitchenware, clocks, vases and holiday decorations for the yearly cash-only event.
Residents can donate items from Sept. 30 through Oct. 11 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Susi Q Center, 380 Third St. According to an event flyer, clothing, furniture and other oversized items will not be accepted.

In addition, organizers may have to turn some items away due to limited space.
The donated treasures will be purchased by residents on the day of the Bargain Bonanza and given new homes, with proceeds going toward the purchase of Bingo prizes for Laguna Beach seniors.
