La Jolla's Everyday California Promotes Harry Thomas and Brian Stevens to Director Positions

Senior Team Members to Lead Sales and Manufacturing Divisions as the Company Continues on Fast Growth Track

La Jolla-based lifestyle company Everyday California announced the promotion of two of its senior team members--Harry Thomas and Brian Stevens. Thomas has been promoted to director of sales, while Stevens will be the new director of operations. In their new roles, the duo will lead crucial parts of Everyday California’s core adventure and apparel businesses.

Thomas joined the company in 2012 as a sales manager, taking the lead on all adventure partnerships and retail businesses’ wholesale activities, as well as managing the sales team. Prior to relocating to San Diego from San Francisco, Thomas spent a year as a sales representative at Salesforce.com and two years in sales at MongoNet, Inc. In his new role as Sales Director, Thomas will be responsible for sales and overseeing all wholesale accounts for the company’s retail division.

Thomas holds a Master’s of Science in International Business degree from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern Methodist University. When he isn’t busy selling the California dream to locals and travelers, he is out living it through surfing, biking, traveling and cooking.

Stevens started at Everyday California as a tour guide in 2009, shortly after graduating from San Diego State University. He was promoted to beach manager shortly after and moved into the general manager role in 2012. During his time as a general manager, Stevens was responsible for running the company’s La Jolla Shores retail location, including hiring, training and managing staff, and managing in-store sales and operations. In his new role as Director of Operations, Stevens will spearhead the company’s manufacturing channels, including finding new supply chain partners, and streamlining and optimizing inventory and processes.

Stevens holds a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University. When he’s not running Everyday California’s flagship store, Stevens stays active through working out, surfing, spearfishing and treasure hunting, and spending time with friends and his one-year-old yellow Labrador Indiana Jones.

Co-founder and Managing Partner Michael Samer says both have both been invaluable to Everyday California. “Their dedication to the company and strong work ethics have helped us grow at unprecedented rates over the past five years,” said Samer.

Thomas and Stevens will be based out of the company’s La Jolla Shores headquarters, located at 2246 Avenida De La Playa, directly across from their retail location.
