2 Hospitalized In Lake Elsinore Crash

Fire officials had to free the victims from the wreckage.

LAKE ELSINORE, CA — Two people were hospitalized Tuesday night in a Lake Elsinore crash, the Riverside County Fire Department reports.

The wreck happened just before 8:30 p.m. in the area of Lake Street and Temescal Canyon Road and involved two vehicles, according to fire spokeswoman Jody Hagemann. A total of 11 firefighters responded to help free the injured.

"Both patients have been extricated and will be transported to area hospitals by ground ambulance for treatment of moderate injuries," Hagemann said.
