The Storm splits its home-opening series 2-2 with the Inland Empire 66ers.
It was a great day at The Diamond Sunday as the home town fans streamed into the ballpark, enjoying all the amenities. A crowd of more than 6,000 watched The Storm fall to the 66ers 6-3 in the final game of their four-game home opening series.
The Storm took a 2-1 lead in the fourth when Kyle Gaedele walked, stole second and then went to third on Austin Hedges' ground out. Gaedele then scored the go ahead run on a singlle by Robert Kral.
