Additional Trash Dumpster In Place Through End Of Friday

The county brought in the dumpster for returning fire evacuees.

From Riv Co: Many residents who were evacuated due to the Holy Fire are returning to homes that have been without power for several days. Because of this, residents are urged to throw out all perishable foods, including any food in freezers that may have thawed. It is not always possible to tell if food has spoiled by look, smell or taste. As a precaution, all food in your refrigerator and freezer should be disposed of.

Environmental Health, along with Supervisor Jeffries office, EMD and CR&R have worked together to get an additional dumpster in El Cariso for residents to throw away food. It is located in the Hell’s Kitchen Motorsports Bar and Grill parking lot, 32685 Ortega Hwy, Lake Elsinore.

The dumpster will be open to residents daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday, Aug. 17. Residents may dispose of food waste and household trash only in the dumpster. No hazardous waste, fire debris/ash, construction materials or bulky items will be accepted. There is no charge to residents to use the dumpster.
