'No Suspicious Items' Found At Corona Hospital After Bomb Scare

UPDATED: Police said the hospital resumed normal operations on Thursday afternoon following a bomb scare.

CORONA, CA — After about two hours of investigating a bomb threat made towards a Riverside County hospital, officials gave the all-clear Thursday afternoon. As of 2:22 p.m., the Corona Police Department stated that Corona Regional Medical Center had resumed normal operations.

"No suspicious items or devices were located," police said. "Thank you all for your patience and understanding."

The threat, which was received shortly after noon, prompted officials to partially close access to the facility earlier in the day, as they urged the public to stay away.
